I wish I could develop a program for youth graduating out of traditional school system in India that would help them regain their confidence and curiosity to learn about life that our industrial age education system is so adept at destroying.

Today, I was trying hard to get a group of intelligent youth to shake off that veil and speak their minds. I wanted these youngsters to talk. But, their creativity and imagination along with the freespiritedness to present their views candidly is not viewed positively in our society. Result: youth who crams but doesn't learn. Pretends to learn but unable to apply in life.

In the present knowledge/informaiton age, will the average Indian youth be able to compete with the average North American youth?
